If facts are to believed, King enquired Elon, if there was something that people should be aware of or if they should be worried about the capability of the car, to match the delivery of the orders.

King enquired, ‘do customers need to be stressed about what is going on with the production of Tesla’s model 3, and when can they expect the possession of the car?

In response to this Elon said, that it is better to not look at the exact number of days; else we should see it on a calendar basis. There should not be any questions such as when are people  going to get their cars. Infact, it should be, “Yes, certainly the individuals are soon going to own their Tesla Model 3, in the next 6-9 months than the actual expected time.”

King Again questions, “Do you mea people should not worry about the delay?”

To this Musk responded that it’s just a nominal time shift of 6-9 months, out of which 3 months are already over.

During a conversation, Musk mentioned that the Model 3 ramp has been a painful and difficult process since several months. When concerned by Gayle, Elon said that recently, he has been taking a nap on the factory floor, to which the CEO of Tesla said that this is not a place to sleep in.

Musk added to this that it is not appropriate for the team to take the task of building the Tesla Model 3 especially when he is on a vacation and relaxing.

During the interview, King noticed that Musk has accepted the fact that building Tesla Model 3 car is more difficult than he ever expected to be. In spite of all these delays, the CEO has shared that he has several strategies going on his mind, which surely will help speed up the process of production of Model 3.
